B.TECH
The student will be able to:
PSO1: Students will have a good breadth of knowledge in the areas related to material, hydraulics, construction of structures and designing of infrastructure based on computer software.
PSO2: Proficiency in designing and conducting tests of construction materials and building components as well as analyze and interpret data.
PSO3: Students will have the ability to apply the fundamentals of civil engineering to formulate competitive research proposals and to develop innovative products to meet the societal needs thereby evolving as an eminent researcher and entrepreneur.
M.TECH
The student will be able to:
PSO1: To provide proficiency in basic principles and advanced courses of technology in Structural Design so that students are able to formulate, analyze and solve the societal problems for sustainable development related to Structural Design.
PSO2: To produce Structural Engineers who integrate and build on the program’s core curricular concepts in the pursuits of professional leadership, teamwork, lifelong learning, and successful career advancement.
PSO3: Ability to analyze the effects of natural calamities like earthquakes, landslides etc. including disaster management and to design stable structures for relevant stress resultants.
