Director’s Profile
Prof. Aman Aggarwal carries with him 34 years of experience of industry, academia & research. He was the topper of his school, the university topper in B.Tech, college topper in M.Tech and completed his Ph.D in the shortest permitted time from NIT, Kurukshetra. He was adjudged the “Best Teacher” at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, Delhi.
He has represented India in a project on “Feasibility Study of Renewable Energy Potential in Asia” sponsored by Kyoto University, Japan.
He was selected as the Secretary of Sustainable Energy and Environment Forum in the year 2010 in the Annual General Meeting held at IIT, Delhi. He has visited Indonesia, Vietnam Singapore and Thailand in the context of SEE forum activities.
Had he wished, he could have been Professor at DCRUST, Murthal now, but he chose a difficult path and decided to remain in private organizations.
He has published more than 25 quality research papers in International and National Journals, which include journals from Elsevier, Springer and Inderscience. He got a grant of Rs. 6 Lacs under the MODROB scheme from AICTE for the upgradation of Labs. He has guided a Ph.D student, and many more are pursuing their Ph.D under him.
He is a member of various committees viz Board of Studies, Proctorial Board for University Merit Scholarship, College Portal and Youth Welfare at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU, Rohtak).
Director’s Message
The acid test for any organization is its Results and Placements. GITAM is among the best Institutes of M.D. University on both these fronts. About 1010 students of this Institute were University Merit Rankers in 2022 – 23, out of which 30 Students, had secured first position in the University. In the Convocation held in M.D.
University, 15 students of GITAM received Gold Medals. 350+ companies have visited the campus for the placement drive. We have tie-ups with more than 300 companies for Training & Placements.
Our students also got selected in various Multinational Companies and Public Sector Undertakings. GITAM showcases multi-cultural diversity as students from 21 states and 8 countries study in the campus. Let me assure you that our students are well groomed, confident, versatile, hard working, intelligent, problem solvers and will definitely prove themselves as an asset to the Industry.
