The student will be able to:
PEO1: To outline the practice of Civil Engineering in a responsible, professional and ethical manner and implement eco-friendly sustainable technologies for the benefit of industry as well as society.
PEO2: To achieve high level of technical expertise to understand, identify and explain real life civil engineering problems.
PEO3: To attain the analytical expertise to analyze, formulate, and solve challenging problems in the field of Civil and Environmental Engineering; and also recognize and develop the necessary and suitable solutions for the same.
PEO4: To support and value the need based active participation in infrastructural development for the betterment of society.
PEO5: To develop an understanding of multi discrepancy approach and an ability to relate engineering issues to broader social and human context, in which their engineering contributions will be utilized.
M.TECH
The student will be able to:
PEO1: To outline graduate students about behavior and design of Advanced RC structures, behavior and design of Advanced Steel structure, latest procedures in earthquake resistant design practices and earthquake resistant design philosophies.
PEO2: To expose the graduate students to use latest design codes, current national and international scenario on Structural Design and to motivate them in interdisciplinary involvement in problems related to Structural Engineering.
PEO3: Analyze Civil engineering systems with social awareness and responsibility.
PEO4: Graduates of the Programme will contribute to the development of new materials, design and construction of structures that are sustainable.
